Janey (Sarah Jessica Parker, Sex and the City) is new to Chicago, and soon meets Lynne (Helen Hunt, As Good As It Gets), who shares her passion for dancing and the show "Dance TV". Janey and Lynne are determined to audition for the show, but Janey's strict and conservative father won't let her go.Lynne talks her into sneaking out and Janey impresses the judges with her gymnastic ability and is paired up with blue-collar bad boy Jeff.
