KEOMA's creators - Italian director Enzo G. Castellariand its star, legendary actor Franco Nero - are icons to Quentin Tarantino, who famously called Castellari 'My Master' when reimagining his 'Inglorious Bastards' (even inviting him for a cameo). Equally a devoted fan of Franco Nero - who rose to fame as the original anti-hero gunslinger Django - Tarantino also gave him a scene-stealing appearance in his tribute, 'Django Unchained'.
