Richard Lester directs an all-star cast in this 1970s adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel. In 17th-century France, Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis (Oliver Reed, Frank Finlay and Richard Chamberlain) are in the service of King Louis XIII (Jean-Pierre Cassel) when young d'Artagnan (Michael York) arrives in the capital, creating a stir by single-handedly defeating two soldiers in a magnificent swordfight.
