Before he became the darling of the arthouses, Wong Kar-wai (Chungking Express) co-wrote this bawdy horror-comedy. It's set in a police precinct that was previously a hang-out for Japanese soldiers during the war; the spirits of those who died there are restless, and looking for living victims. It's up to slacker cops Jacky Cheung and Ricky Hui to silence the unquiet dead once more.
