After marrying the wrong man, wealthy heiress Dee Dee Dilwood decides to run away & enlists the help of failing airline entrepreneur Marvin Payne, who reluctantly agrees to let her hide out in his room for the evening. Sparks fly between the two and things begin to get really complicated when Marvin allows her to hitch a ride across the country in his cargo plane. They have to survive a wild flight with a group of wacky passengers, including a cigar smoking chimp!
